Autoglym Paint Renovator is a deep cleaning cream for removing surface
scratches, severe haze and oxidation. It contains carefully blended grades of
aluminum oxide powder to give a controllable cutting and polishing action. Use
only for the renovation of particular paint defects and NOT as a general polish.
Paint Renovator works both quickly and easily and avoids removing excessive
amounts of paint. Ideal for all types of automobile paintwork including acrylics,
cellulose, metallic and clear coat finishes.
Instructions: Always attempt to restore finish with Autoglym Super Resin
Polish first. Shake well. Apply to cool, clean dry surface with soft cotton
or microfiber cloth using in-line parallel strokes. Increase pressure to remove
specific scratches or stains. Decrease pressure to improve surface gloss. Check
repair process regularly. Remove residue with a clean cloth. Finally, polish
to maximize gloss and preserve unprotected surface.
Caution: Test an inconspicuous area first. Avoid polishing unlacquered
metallic paints which may 'shade'. The use of any abrasive polish on car paintwork
should always be restricted to the correction of specific problems such as scratches
or oxidation. Always try Autoglym resin polish first as it may rectify the problem
without undue paint removal.
