Optimum Compound is an aggressive compound designed to remove deeper
scratches and imperfections, yet is easy to work with and creates an awesome
shine with very limited or no swirls. You will not see a haziness, cloudiness,
or excessive dusting that many compounds leave behind. You are left with a great
shine without the major swirls or the haze most compounds create! Optimum Compound
can be used with a wool or foam pad and at any speed on the buffer. It can remove
1200 grit sand scratch marks while still performing like a polish. Optimum Compound
gives the user a long working time and prevents dry buffing. It buffs like a
polish and shines like a wax! If you thought you would never find the perfect
compound, look no more. Here it is! Optimum compound contains no silicone oils
or wax, so it is body shop safe and can be used in any shop. ** This is not
the newer version**
Directions: When using a wool buffing pad, the compound will remove
1200 sand scratches and lighter at 1000-1400 RPM. Faster buffing speed is not
needed with this product. When using a medium or heavy cut foam pad, the compound
will remove 1500 sand scratches and lighter at 1000-1400 RPM. A final finishing
foam pad is generally not recommended with a compound product. For light surface
imperfections, use the Optimum Polish for the least aggressive method of blemish
removal. Always use enough product to create a barrier between the buffing pad
and the paint surface. Wipe off residue to ensure the removal of compounding
agents before proceeding to the Optimum Polish. Optimum Compound, Optimum Polish,
and Optimum Car Wax meet all VOC regulations and are body shop safe.
