Nitrile Disposable Gloves are great for auto repair and other detailing work. Protect your hands from dirt, dust, light grease and direct contact with chemicals. Synthetic gloves contain no natural latex protein. Soft elastic material exerts less pressure on the hand. More comfortable fit and greater dexterity and tactile sensitivity. Greater puncture resistance than natural rubber and vinyl disposable. Resists a broad range of chemical in many applications. Non-examination grade. Lightly powdered. Recommended use for auto repair. Package of 6 (3 pairs). Blue Color.
What is Nitrile?
Nitrile is a non-latex,
non-vinyl, molecularly cross-linked film. It is hydrophilic so will not absorb
water. It is resistant to many chemicals and outperforms latex in auto mechanics
applications. Nitrile outperforms all other synthetic gloves in puncture resistance.
It is up to 3 times more puncture resistant than the thicker vinyl or natural
rubber gloves. Nitrile also has a high "tear rate", where pinholes
enlarge very quickly and visibly, warning the wearer to change gloves thereby
avoiding contamination. Nitrile gloves are perfect for extended wear as the
compound conforms to the contours of your hand in response to the temperature
of your skin. The longer you wear them, the more comfortable they become.
